Custom White Polymer Clay Dragon by MiniMythicalMonsters Custom White Polymer Clay Dragon by MiniMythicalMonsters
This beautiful white dragon was a custom order for WhiteK27 ( of their favorite dragon game character!

His body is a beautiful pure frosty white with translucent wings. I just love his crown of horns! His chest is covered with fur, fur on his wings and he also has a furry tail tip. It was quite the challenge to keep the clay clean!

The dragon was made out of polymer clay with wire armature. (The armature was especially handy with the wings...pshew!!)

He measures 3.5 inches tall.

If you enjoy this dragon and would like to see more, browse my gallery! Or visit my Etsy shop!…

I am more than happy to make your own custom dragon or other creature, perhaps you have your very own dragonsona in mind!? Feel free to message me any questions!!

How did you....
Ok the wings are baffling me.
How on earth did you get those things to stay up so the clay would not fall through!?

Uhm...hi!I have a little question that may not fit entirely with this dragon...Originally I was going to ask this to Becca(DragonsAndBeasties)but damn...she has no time to answer! For example in her forest dragon , have you any idea of how to do texture in both sides of the wings, without destroying one side by doing the other one?
And also I wanted to tell you that your artworks are one of the better ones I've ever seen...hope some day I'll be as good as you.
If you can't help me and I was only a bothering , I'm very sorry.
Thank you anyways!

I also work with polymer clay, so I hope it's okay if I answer. XD One thing that helps is using a firmer brand of clay, such as Premo Sculpey. While you're texturing, make sure not to press the clay down on the table, and use a sharp tool like an Exacto knife to make the details. You can also mount the clay on something (such as another tool) to keep it completely off the table, if you're doing very subtle texturing. Above all, experiment until you find what works. Each sculpture is different! Hope this helps.
